Celebrating ten years of the Dogtrot House

Founding principals Ashley and Lee recently shared a celebratory lunch with the owners of one of our favourite projects, the Dogtrot House, to mark ten years since the house was finished. It was wonderful to see the house being loved and lived in well and to hear stories of all the gatherings and wonderful not-quite-camping experiences the owners and their friends have had over the ten years. And to see the house looking as good as new!

The name comes from a vernacular house type from the southern USA, where the hallway through the centre of the house is left open to the elements, allowing breezes (and local dogs) through.
