Rachel is a graduate of architecture, who approaches design through a practical and community-oriented lens. She has most recently applied this approach to her practice at DunnHillam in her contributions to Margaret House Refuge and Cobar Museum projects.

Before joining DunnHillam, Rachel worked at a range of practices and scales during her time at TRIAS Studio, Cox Architecture and Make Architects.  She takes much inspiration from her time studying abroad, and particularly from Denmark, where she studied and worked in 2018 and 2023, most recently as part of the multidisciplinary MADE by the Opera House scholarship program. These past experiences have fostered a keen curiosity for absorbing the built environment through collaboration and cross-cultural experiences.

Outside of the office, Rachel has been teaching as a sessional academic at The University of Sydney. She also finds happiness through hands-on hobbies, whether it be hiking and camping in the bush, cooking up a storm, or planning her next woodworking project.
